February 2017 - a documentary project put on hold and then cancelled mid pre-production, left our team in Sri Lanka wondering where to go next. Cheap flights to Delhi, family friends happy to host us and Steve McCurry’s stunning photos from Rajasthan made our decision straightforward. A few days later my fellow photographer/cousin Karim and I found ourselves lugging our many bags across immensely crowded train platforms, battling to board carriages. We would be heading west, to the legendary blue city of Jodhpur.
These photographs were taken in Jodhpur, Jaipur and Ranthambore.
